Release the Year

suptabaddhakonasana

Supta baddhakonasana A great restorative pose for summer. It offers deep rest, releasing of the year (& body heat on a hot day). Make it super comfy! Pop:

  • a rolled blanket under each thigh to support your ‘butterfly’ thighs
  • cushions under forearms
  • a pillow (or 2) under your back
  • a cushion for your head
  • lightweight eye pad
  • don’t skimp on the comfort!

When you’re fully supported like this, your body may finally surrender deeply. Give yourself 15 mins. No ifs, buts or interruptions! You’ll enjoy wafting bliss, and have extra bounce after 😉
