Term 4 Yoga ~ Yr Weekly Sanctuary

Yoga Me Well Students look like this ;-) Spring! It’s time to grow into your new skin.

If Life is wearing you out, or you’re ready to deepen your existing yoga practice, Yoga Me Well’s classes are a small, safe, friendly environment in which to explore yoga in a reflective way.  We move slowly, breath matched to movement. We take time to pause, feel and reflect on what bubbles up during class, so we move into the week open to observe behaviours more consciously.  Deep rest is an essential part of each class to restore you.

Reserve your spot, or trial class, now.  With only 9 people per class, places fill quickly.

I’ll look forward to sharing this wonderful, progressive inner practice with you.

People became bent, twisted and core-floppy, and learned to live with it. Today, drug companies inject analgesia by the billions of dollars into a pain-killer familiar culture. The moment the body grunts, we pop a pill. What would happen if we stopped drugging our bodies for speaking up, and started listening instead?               read more…

Yoga Rebates Available!

A big well done to Yoga Australia for persevering. We now have 4 private health funds that have confirmed they will provide rebates for yoga classes. Take advantage:

Australian Unity (must have letter from GP & depends on your level of cover); BUPA (letter signed by GP required); CBHS (Dr’s certification required); Grand United Corporate Health (yesiree!).

Your yoga teacher needs to provide a printed receipt with: ABN, address, style of yoga, number of classes paid.  Some funds may require the teacher to have a provider number but I rang Aust Unity and they said “no need”.
